Refund Policy

Overview

Magnolia Path Business Advisors Co., Ltd. provides professional advisory consultations on a fixed-fee basis. This policy explains when refunds are available, how cancellations work, and what happens if an engagement is interrupted.

Engagement Deposits

Most consultations require a 50% deposit before work begins, with the balance due upon delivery of the final report or plan. Deposits are invoiced in New Taiwan Dollars and paid by bank transfer.

Full Refund Eligibility

You are eligible for a full refund of amounts paid if:

• We cancel the engagement before any advisory work has commenced
• We are unable to deliver the agreed scope due to circumstances within our control
• You cancel within 5 business days of paying the deposit and before we have begun document review or field visits

Partial Refund Eligibility

Partial refunds may apply when:

• You cancel after work has begun but before field visits — we will refund the unused portion minus a NT$15,000 administrative fee and any hours already logged
• We deliver a draft report that does not meet the agreed scope as defined in the engagement letter — we will either revise at no charge or refund the portion attributable to deficient deliverables
• An engagement is mutually terminated mid-project — refund calculated based on work completed versus total scope

Non-Refundable Items

The following are not refundable once incurred:

• Completed field visits and travel expenses already billed
• Third-party research costs ordered on your behalf (e.g., trade-area reports from external data providers)
• Final deliverables that have been presented and accepted in writing
• Deposits for engagements where document review or on-site visits have already commenced

Cancellation by Client

To cancel an engagement, email info@service-magnoliapath.click with your name, engagement reference, and reason. We will confirm cancellation in writing within 3 business days and process any applicable refund within 14 business days.

Rescheduling

Discovery calls and working sessions may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours notice at no charge. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours notice may be charged at NT$3,000 per missed session. Field visits rescheduled due to client unavailability after our advisor has travelled may incur a rebooking fee of NT$5,000 plus travel costs.

No-Shows

If you do not attend a scheduled discovery call or working session without notice, we will attempt to reach you once. Repeated no-shows may result in engagement termination with refund limited to the non-refundable items listed above.

Work Already Started

Once we have conducted on-site visits, delivered a draft report, or logged more than 20 advisory hours, the deposit is considered earned against work performed. Any refund will be calculated as the remaining balance between fees paid and the value of work delivered at our standard hourly rate of NT$5,500.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are returned to the original bank account used for payment within 14 business days of approval. We will send confirmation by email when the refund is initiated.

Deposits for Rollout Coordination

Branch Rollout Coordination engagements span 8–14 weeks. If you cancel after the rollout timeline has begun, the deposit covers coordination through the week of cancellation. Any prepaid amounts for future weeks are refunded minus documented expenses already committed (contractor deposits, scheduled travel).
